Ow do Sidlings! Well you’ll never guess what they’ve got me roped into now! I’ll be running 201 metres in ‘The Worlds Largest Mascot Event’ to raise money for Sue Ryder the National Health Care Charity.
Last year there were over 80 mascots with the likes of Kung Fu Panda from Barclays Business and Filbert the Squirrel from Airedale Shopping Centre, bet he was a nutty character, he’he! So there’s some stiff competition but I fancy my chances… they don’t call me Lightning Bolt Sid for nothin’! Well.. they don’t call me that at all. But I’ve got myself a good coach… A Volvo B12RT with Plaxton Panther 2 bodywork in megabus blue
Since becoming the face of megabus it’s been non stop but I love it me! Letting all you lovely people know what I’m up to when I’m out and about and helping you out with me tips for travelling cheap and giving you the info on new routes first!
Anyway, I didn’t want to keep you furlong back to this race day. It’s on Sunday 26th April at Wetherby Races family day race meeting. Get down there to get involved in the action. I’ll be looking forward to a fun filled day but need to get back to my training for now (should of kept myself one of those fit bit bands I gave away from Munich the other week for #sidssouvenirs :))
